Ring the bell for success…..
CELEBRATING GREAT WORK, BY GREAT PEOPLE IS A PART OF THE GPCI ORGANIZATION. WHEN ONE OF OUR TEAMMATES COMPLETES A PROJECT IT IS THEIR OPPORTUNITY TO CELEBRATE AND RING THE BELL.
Line 22 was the single largest proposal in GPCi’s history. Once all change orders are finalized this will be close to a million dollar project for GPCi. Our client took a chance on us, as we are not usually the group that gets asked to qualify a brand new finishing line in it’s entirety, and we did not disappoint. This project was a great example of GPCi pulling together as a team to accomplish a shared goal, with every project manager giving up team members for extended periods of time in order to achieve success. Ultimately we feel that we exceeded our client’s expectation with product release occurring prior to the projected date. Thanks to ALL who made this happen!

Kudos to the pictured crew in their successful commissioning of the R2 replacement chiller #1B! The group persevered through many hardships to make this happen. First, the project was delayed when gremlins caused THREE failed start-up attempts. Then, Production had an emergency, requiring the chiller to be put in operation before formal commissioning was completed (not good).
Despite the setbacks, the QTS record was finally closed and within budget! Great job, guys!
Congratulations to Harsha on completing the Risk Assessment (RA) for the Oil-Free Compressed Air (OFCA) Utility SS-12. The RA helped re-classify the OFCA generation segment from Level 1 to Level 3. The updated classification will help the Client site save money on future commissioning of the new air compressors. We were only tasked with completing the RA, but Harsha went a step ahead and completed the equipment classification assessments for OFCA generation segment and the distribution segments and informed the site about the updates required for the Validation Plan 11. Thanks Harsha for your hard work and due diligence.

Loop 8 was Matt‘s first big-time project for us. From the very get go, he took to the ground running and carried this project all the way to the finish line. A new welding group was assigned to this project, they provided a turnover package that was deemed the worst turnover package ever seen. Matt was able to go through the package identify the errors and stayed on top of the vendor until all the corrections were made! Congratulations on a job well done Matt!!

Congrats to this crew for implementing a RUSH change to relocate a Metasys control panel (and temperature transmitters) that previously resided in the tornado-damaged Hi-Rise Warehouse. This project was getting a LOT of Tier 3 (upper management) attention at the site.
Special shout-out to Naveen, who stepped up on the Friday before Labor Day weekend to assist Maury with the protocol execution.

Please join us in congratulating Sowmya and team for completing the Upgrade TS Line 198 Filamatic Filler HMI project. This was a very time sensitive project, with an evolving scope. Sowmya successfully completed the projects with no delays caused to production start up activities. Thank you Dheeraj, Vyvika,
Krystal, and Kristen as well for your help on this project.
Matt Rice
Kudos to this dynamic duo for closing a CC record for HVAC! The change involved adding Plant Steam cut-off valves and regulators to the existing R1 SVP Dehumidifiers. This was a Safety improvement that will also extend the service life of the equipment. Job well done!

Congratulations to Harsha and Dheeraj on closing the Replace Digi Recorders on the Utilities AVEVA Wonderware SCADA project. This was a very time sensitive project which involved co-ordination from multiple departments and long working weeks (including weekends). Great job guys, we truly appreciate your diligence!
Also special mention to the Documentation team. Hance, Russell and Melissa had to manually complete more than 80 instrumentation forms and get them approved in less than a week. And Kristen had to work with the new member at the client site to process the SOPs during the busy shutdown time. Thank you guys for always being so helpful, patient and supportive!
